Testimony The Baptism Testimony of Abigail Day Abigail Day April 18, 2023 • Baptism I grew up in the church as a preacher’s daughter, I quickly became good at faking fine. I felt out of place and I struggled to keep up. I unintentionally received the childhood message that I wasn’t enough. I felt like I was constantly disappointing God. I felt neglected by God. At a young age I hated life and didn’t have a desire to be alive. As I got to college those feelings amplified. I grew depressed and I wondered if following Jesus was worth it.But in the darkest moments of my life Jesus picked me up and put me together and said "my child you are worth it." He sent me to the Miller family in college to give me a picture of what unconditional love looks like, Salvation is not something I have to earn. I learned a true picture of Christ. Then I moved to Kentucky and got plugged into Sojourn and met Becky and Steven Ott who are another great example of God’s radical love and hospitality. It finally clicked for me. share Abigail Day
